Hi, I'm brand new here and brand new to growing.

Apologies for posting this as I know there are numerous threads all over about all these issues. However, I thought I'd try and get a definitive answer to my question....

Here's my intended set-up.....

Tent in a loft which is insulated from the rooms below but not insulated at roof level to the outside world
600w Lamp with a 100mm RVK Extraction (plus Filter and Silencer)
Vent available to the outside to either bring fresh air in (and so vent the tent into the loft) or extract the hot air and intake from the loft space

Now, heres the questions.....

I am concerned about getting spotted by the plod from either the heat showing inside the loft (if I vent to the loft space), or the heat showing at the vent if send it external. Which is best for me..... please advise as all my gear turns up tomorrow and I'm setting this up this weekend.
