Ok this year im gonna grow just micheal manley, and clones at that as last season a few males crept in my harem and violated a few of my virgins so this year ill have no such nonsense, also ive gone for just micheal manley as they have outshone every other variety.Ill turn the soil and clear the site soon adding chicken manure and fish blood and bonemeal, hope to be planting out early april.

Good luck with your endeavours! Some good groundwork your putting in by the sounds of it, the early bird catches the worm as they say
I'm giving guerilla growing a miss this season, last years suburban growing brought on the tin-foil hat syndrome a bit to much.

Although I may get the bug once I see everyone else's going strong

Hi Ouncy ..
I have a few Questions...
I'm planning on doing my first guerilla run this year.. and was wanting to know if I could just get away with straight planting my seedlings in the soil with no Preperation?
They would be in quite fertile soil.. just off the edge of a forest..
would they take?... or do you seriously suggest preping the area first?

Ok i got down the plot yesterday, the stingers were already 3feet high so clearing was fun, anyway 2 hours work and the site was clear. It was then given a top dressing of chicken manure and fish, blood, also managed to find all my cages from last year so that saved a load of work,i will let those goodies work their way in for a few weeks then start planting out.

Mate those pictures look like they belong a GG's how-to brochure. Soft, lush looking topsoil. I take it this spot is your regular. Perfect straight lines too, do you even need to dig this ground over?

Actually looks a little shady, but that depends on the time of day i guess...Screw bud porn, this is plot porn!! :

Consider me seated and rolling a fresh one for this grow!!

Cheers guys, well spotted Stickybud it is a bit shady one one side of the plot, but the pics were taken about 7.00pm.What i noticed is the surrounding elder trees have grown a few feet over the last few year so they will be getting a little trim.As for the soil i never dig it over as the p.h and quality seems very good, plus i find dug over soil drys out alot quicker, its a squarish plot about 20ft square.

Potted up my cuttings today as they had rooted well enough, first off drilled holes in the bottom of pint cups to alow drainage, drilling from the inside so the bur from the drill is on the outside of the pot, otherwise they hold a little water in the bottom.
ouncyboy
Apr 25 2009, 07:09 AM
They were gently teased from the seedling trays, and placed in the individual pots,a couple of days to settle in then the real growth should start.

Last for today all the little ladys together, few more to pot up today then wait to plant them out.

Been a bit of a quiet couple of weeks ,waiting for the cuttings to reach a big enough size to plant out.So i decided to get down the plot and sort out the surrounding trees which had grown about five ft to high and were beginning to shade one half of the plot.Heres how they looked on arrival.
ouncyboy
May 8 2009, 04:28 PM
And heres how they looked after the bow saw had said hello, now just a small part of the plot will get a bit of dappled shade late in the afternoon ,otherwise its day long full on sun

,got to find another little plot to put out the blueberry father and one mazar and one manley, may chuck out a spare pineapple punch ive got kicking about. How far from the main plot do you guys suggest i stick the male so as not to inpregnate my hareem of virgins.
