TightBud
slug/snail like patterns indicate thrips
not sure what to use this far into flower

usually catching them early is the best

someone will have an answer of what to use(maybe)

Three weeks away from finish, there's not a lot you can use. SBPI might keep them in check, but you'd need to be careful you don't spray the buds too much.

how u doin smoke,

ive had thrips b4,as far as i know u can only get rid b4 the buds form.i used povardo ultimate bug killer.it did the trick but i was 2weeks into flower.
i think the thrips jus slow the plant down abit so yo will lose abit on yield

Don't use Provado in flower at all, it's a rather long lasting systemic poison. I wouldn't smoke any bud that had been treated with it in flower.

How do you know it was safe ? Did you test the bud for residues ? Here's a quote from the manufacturers website

QUOTE
Up to 6 weeks control of a wide range of pests
Rapid action and long-lasting protection

So it persists in the plant at toxic levels for 6 weeks after application, after 8 weeks there may not be enough to effect an instant kill on an insect but you will still be combusting a certain amount and then inhaling it. Remember the test Bayer did was on consumption they have not done any tests to see what chemical changes occur when it is combusted and smoked.

Take a butchers at this website and see how safe you still think it is Pesticideinfo.org
