Hi guys trying to pick some good seeds for a SOG , plants going to be 18" tall max.

was thinking about chronic , would that be a good strain for a SOG ?

why the hell would you want loads of branches!! he's doing a sea of green, the last thing you need is loads of branches!!
do you know what a sea of green is or how you achieve it.........it aint with branches
Single stem plants are what you want and lot's of em!! with not much branches at all........
The idea of a sea of green is lot's of single colas to fill your space.

I'm looking for a similar strain. Nice BIG beautiful delicious colas. Not a shit load of branches all over the place.
Next grom will be SOG, but i'm looking a potent, flavorfull, high yield strain.
My plans is a 4x4 grow tent with a 600watt aircolled, ect.
Any ideias please ????

White widow , in my experience stays fairly short, or any similar strain, i would not go for sativas or high sativa % strains because they tend to run quite tall even if u start very small.
if you vege under low wattage and concentrate on root formation then almost anything will do for sog , just give it a week or 2 vege and dont nip out and u get your nice lill x-mass tree cola .

I've heard that Pot of Gold is a good SOG strain..

Jedi is perfect if you can get it. Single strong cola, easy to grow, overwhelmingly strong and fruity smelling. It's only available as a cutting strain (afaik) but i hope to develop some seed strains from it eventually.

depends which white widow whoever said that. nirvana ww for instance is very sat and stretches BIG, greenhouse seeds ww is very short stocky, and dense and very good for sog, not as good high though. afghani from seedsman is very good for sog, was supposed to do a diary if you look at my sig, but got stoned, so it didn't happen, very few side branches though, and BIG DENSE jUICY maine colas! stretches a bit more than you'd expect from a pure indi, bout 2.5 times, average stone. blue mystic was a very good smoke indeed and smells really fruity/berry, but i found they were really varied, some short and very very branchy others more like the afghans, but if you're doing sog you could grow out a few find the perfect mother. another really good sog strain is SEX from thc laboratories, but dunno if you can still get seeds?
