I have recently ordered and germinated 10 nl specials from kc brains and was wandering if anybody else had grown this strain or had any experience with it. My previous grow was kc33 and I really love kc33 even though it seemed like I was growing a mixed pack of seeds because of the different pheno-types.I am an out-door grower and I make my seeds thru the winter. So what about NL special, does anyone know??

I have grown several different types of NL over the past 20 years or so and was just wandering about this strain in particular. Is it a good outdoor plant , mold proof, drought proof and so on. Thanks...O.G.

ive just started some kc brains northern light special too they shud be about 6-7 cm tall by now the germinated fast im also doing mango from kc brains spliff.gif
My NL special also germinated really fast with 100% germination.I also had 100% germination with the KC33 also.I have read several different posts about the KC gear having bad germination rates but all KC brains seeds have germinated great for me.I really love the vigor of these seeds, they kick ass coming out of the soil. That is a big issue for an outdoor grower.I have had some pretty bad luck with a lot of the so called super strains.A lot of them will not grow outdoors unless you baby them.I grew seed bank NL#5xskunk for many years outdoors and it performed flawlessly. It would go thru frosts in the spring, done great during the drought season and you could turn out pretty decent bud even if you lost the sun.I am hoping KC brains NL will have some of these qualities even though it is a lot later than the seed bank stock (sept. 10).I wont be able to take it outdoors this year but I will find out next season.....O.G.
