Im about to go ahead with a new grow.

I'm struggling height wise. So am looking for something short. So far Ive short listed Barneys, LSD, Night Shade and Violator Kush. Want to get a bit of mixture. These all seem to have a similar flow period. 55-65 days.

Height wise says they are all between 50-65cm. I find this hard to believe is this accurate??

Anyone got any suggestions for any alternatives. Barneys seems to be the only one giving plant height.

Any other strains 55-65 flow and 50-65 height and femmed.

If I had height probs I would grow larger numbers in smaller pots. Sog it.

don't veg for too long either..

i'm guessing you know this, but you don't want to go for a sativa

you could also LST if things get too tall

Ok, Ive got a 600w lined up, how many pots.

I have thought of sog, need to read up a bit.

Am i right in thinking 600w should do about 1.5m sq

This is my first real grow. Had a hallide and sodium about 8 years ago, found some seeds bput them in soil, in a cupboard ionics and turned them on and off. Got three femaes and pulled about 8-9 oz off them. Things moved on since then and there was nothing like this site. Still trying to get everything sorted and find the easiest way for this proper attempt.

Any suggestions are welcome.

LST = low stress training. That would be like a scrog where you put a twin tent so to speak above your plants and use this to keep the plants below a certain level. Also you can bend the tops to a 90 degree angle and then let them heal (don't touch them for 24 hours after you bend/snap them). You want to rub the area you are going to bed (about 1/2 inch below the top is good) until you break up the inside of the plant so when you bend it in half you don't stress it TOO MUCH. What this does is it tells the plant that the primary growth cola (the main stalk) is not as viable anymore as other side stalks and it puts more energy into those side shoots vs the main (Tallest) shoot. You can do this about once a week on a vegging plant to keep the top of the plant in line. This wont cause the plant to create more side shoots but only to put more, or equal, energy into the sides.
