Hi is there a reason why on most of the greenhouse strains the CBD and THC levels differ on the same plant? It seems like its not a mistake as its the same on all of them.
Anyone shed any light?
thanks

Just theorising here, but THC is there to protect against sunlight, so upper buds *could* have more than lower buds etc.?

On there website...
"Dear Green House Seed Co customers, it is important we clarify a few issues concerning the published cannabinoid values for the strains. In the YouTube videos the values appearing are those of older tests (2004-2006), while the THC-CBD-CBG values appearing in the description of each strain (on our webpage, not in the video) are those of the latest tests we performed in 2007-2008 with more reliable equipments and more precise outcomes. Please refer to the latest tests"

I thought you meant strains that are suitable for growing in greehouses...you may as well set up a let's dis Arjarn thread!
Was in Amsterdam earlier this month and popped into the red light area Greenhouse, ordered strawberry haze and felt ab nowt - plus Arjarn was barging up and down the place with a film crew, boom mike and all, ruining everyone's bloody vibe!

last year i grew cheese, lemon skunk, and trainwreck from greenhouse seeds. 100% germination rate. all plants were healthy and grew as described on the greenhouse videos. yeilds were around 4 to 5 ounce per plant for cheese and lemon, train wreck was less. would definately grow greenhouse cheese and lemon skunk again, cheap seeds, killer smoke and really easy to grow. wasnt impressed with the trainwreck, wont be growing that again.
im now growing arjans haze #3, 4 seedling went under the lights last week along with 1 violator kush from barneys.

I'm not sure about all this letting the personality of the breeder influence strain choices. I used to run foul of Rezdog all the time on CW (before it disappeared), he could be a right prick at times, but I'd still like to get my hands on many of his strains.
endless search

Ive always likes greenhouse seeds, at least they understand growers needs and price female seeds far cheaper than most others companys "regular" seeds. Greenhouse seeds may have bnought the high times cannabis cup, but who really cares?? At the end of the day, they release good healthy strong value for money strains!

if your just after getting stoned and cant be arsed with the whole cloning process, then GH seeds are a cheap way to
get female plants, and they will get you stoned, without a doubt, but agreed the face of GH seeds is a right bell end.
OH and whats the crack with these coated seeds? anyone any experience with them??

Apparently the colour shows strain in mix packs, and also contains an anti-pathogen and root stimulator.
Personally, although i think GHS genetics are god awful, this is a good idea. Mix packs where you know the strain straight off?
Genius.
