i'm currently growing out 2 strains from the seedsman gold range. skunk #1 and northern lights, is any one else doing these or done them and what were they like? i planted 4 of each to sex and the females then had cuts ripped off them whats left is now flowering in my room. i expected indica from the nl plants and sativa ish from the skunk #1. i got exactly the opposite,2 very hazy northern lights and 2 skunk 1 phenos, a ridiculously indica looking leafy thing and a not quite so indica looking 1. to my mind both strains are growing terrible. the skunk 1 has no density to the bud, its all hairs and the nl's are just real spindly stretchy things. everything else in my room are going like the clappers so its not my method or enviroment. i've 2 thai haze x skunk plants 7 week into flower that look more indica than my nl's and in short i'm dissapointed. is it because they are cheap or i have i just dropped on some shit ones?

I actually grow Northern Lights from Seedsman, indoor 400w.. (6 seeds: 4 Fem, 2 males quite nice)
I have exactly the same problem.I wanted an indica strain (they give 80% indica in the breeder description...)but my N.L grow like a skunk during the grow , then, became a real haze when flowering:g:.I have N.L and skunk as you.my box look like Laurel & Hardy .(i must be mad because i kept a mother plant of her)

I heard problem whith skunk1 but P.Bud and Their Top skunk44 are quite good.i can advice these 2 strains.

yup, I have found the same thing.

Popped 5 seeds - 3 female, 2 male, all very sativa. Now that I'm on flowering it's clear that one of the 3 is even more sativa than the rest - so slow to flower.

the worst thing is, they were supposed to grow along side some magic bud in a scrog, but i've had to make do with a lot of LST.

Not impressed.

i 'll cut in 25 - 30 days ...Incredible for a 80%Indica strain

Imagine that being your only female from popping a batch of seeds, people with limited headroom would have literally lost weeks of their time.

A good haze taste,quite soft in mouth and fresh, not a big yelder but a good energic buzz quite strong
I don't advice this strain and i won't grow it again because she 's nothing like a true N.L

my mate just finished seedsman nl and nirvana nl, omg the seedmans simaler to the one in the pic look more like a haze,one word JOKE, some of his nirvana were awesome

i think a forum should be set up to avoid these bad strains with the price invovled and even more so the time took.

That's true.
I can recognize the original haze use inside this Norrthern Light.
I grow few month ago "sugar haze" from seedsman too.They cross it with the N.L too and the taste and grow is quite the same.
But the sugar was a better yielder...but she was so tall under my 400watts, i recommand it for outdoor..
I fed up with seedsman ,particulary with there strain description totally wrong. (but the seedsman skunk are quite good and low prices)

ive done northen l from nirvana and ok.but the pics of them r diferent well sativa

try paradise 5 fem seed for £30 cheap goods are false economy,they do what they say on the tin even look like there pics

the nirvana nl there was deffo alot a varity,but most were big donkys soilid with frost

I am very dissapointed with my grow of Seedsman NL. As above, grows well tall and I chose it based on the fact it was advertised as >80% indica, and I was thinking it would grow fine and finish early - fitting in with the dimentsions of my cabinet. Well lesson learned. Feel like I have wasted my time....

For a Seedsman Indica try their Narkush - bang on 8 weeks and has a Mazar taste with a pain killer of a high, worked for my tooth ache ! Heres a pic of some that the mite got too

Hi guys this is my first post (long time lurker) I have just recently finished my first seedsman grow - Narkush as well, and i must say I was far from happy with the results, (my 7th grow with diiffrent strains) I got 5 females from 30 seeds, one of which was a mutant and yielded next to nothing, the remaining 4 had different finishing times, 1 took 9 weeks, and remainder nearly 11, the stone I felt was weak to say the least. I contacted Seedsman several times and got no response at all. The only thing i did like about this strain was the taste although I do love that kushy taste.

Anyway sorry to just jump in with negativity on my first post. Just thought i would give my two cents.

Have to say I too have been massively disappointed with the Seedsman NL they sell.I bought them to do a 12/12 comparison grow with lowryder and they stretched...and stretched...and stretched.... the LR2 was harvested weeks ago but the northern lights, with its 8 week flowering period, is about 9 weeks now and will need probabaly another 5 weeks or more to finish.
I had 2 males which I intended to use for hacking,they too were stupidly stretchy and were pulled when the male flowers hadn't begun to form 6 weeks into :flower:

And the 3 other seeds I popped all seemed really leggy too so I binned 'em, if I wanted sativas I'd grow them knowingly

I grew the Purplubud from seedsman and the only fault I had was it wasn't purple

Who Hacks breeds for Seedsman seeds because as far as Im aware Seedsman Seeds is a Uk seed vendor so who knocks them together for them?

Have Seedsman responded to anyone about their nl/sk1?
