Is AK47/49 really all that? I never got to smoke any last time in Amsterdam, but saw it on sale everywhere, with the usual warnings about being totally couchlocked if abused etc.

Discount Seed Company are doing 10 for £17.50, this seems rather cheap for such a supposedly amazing smoke...and they say it's virtually indestructible, so I was thinking of an outdoor guerilla grow with it.

Any experiences?

a mate just grew some Serious Seeds AK47. and very nice it is.

ak49n is otherwise known as ak47

Its genetics is mainly Thai,Mexican,Columbian and Afghani.

I would stick to ak47.

Serious Seeds do AK47 - not cheap though.

Nirvana do AK48, ak47 f2's iirc.

10 fem from 10 beans - Serious!

I'm planning on an outdoor grow for these so I'll get 'em in now for mid March germ and April planting out. Was gonna go for the AK47 x LR2 for a shorter grow, but them again maybe not...

I just finished growing a cross that included the legendary AK-47 F-1 from Serious Seeds. This pot has one hit stone strength - really amazing.

Now, a friend of mine (and world renowned dope fiend) will only grow the great AK-47. Other people talk about it finishing in anywhere from 45 to 75 days, depending on what you want out of the plant. I am suspicious as a plant that is ready at 45 days shouldn't be much better at 75 days or somebody is telling a fib...

I don't think we see enough on this strain and more posts should provide information to new and old growers alike, reminding them of the strain heritage and opportunity to work with one of the all-time great strains.

ive grown ak 47 from serios seeds and yes its a great smoke not to couch locky though i would grow again very stinky very silver with resin and a nice slightly pinkish look my advise would be definatly get the one from serious seeds its the only company that does the original and the nirvana ak48 is a bad copy it is deffinatly an indoor strain though if you choose the serious seeds version. a geat strain just buy the original from serious seeds its great.
