Oh yeah i could do with advice on size of tray to use and where to possibly get one. Im guessing something along the 0.9m sq to max the space but can only see a 1m sq one for £25 which if my box is 1m sq would be to tight. Any ideas?

My most recent grow = 400W, 3 Chronic plants on a off-the-shelf GT205 system.

I would advise the same for you.
I also recommend the GT205 system - quite cheap (for a one off buy), you get all you need and it would save you the hassle of making one.

Im just pretending as well, of course.

ya definately won't be able to fit an 1m2 nft into a 1m2 tent cause the tank that the 1m tray sits in is about 1.2m wide on the side that you can open ! i'd buy a 1.2 tent for flower or if your gonna stick with the 1m tent get 2 nft 205 systems, another thing is if you use one of the 1m2 nft's you'll be limited in the amount of different strains you'll be able to do,cause they all feed at different nute strengths in flower, basically one plant could want an ec of 1.2 and another could want an ec of 1.4 in flower so because the nutes are comin from the same tank you'll be over feeding 1 of them

i reckon a 400w light wont fill that space completely, i have pretty much the exact same space (a little bigger) and sometimes i wonder if my 600 is enough...
jiffa
your 600w is fine maybe a bit to much but fine , his 400w is fine maybe abit small but fine
