You may want bigger pots, but wait for a few more experienced growers to give comment as well. I use 13.2 liter pots myself for flowering.

Your lower trim looks okay to me. I'm pretty aggressive about trimming lower branches. yes.gif

not got a lot of height in veg or flower

interested in some 6.5l wilma pots

they look ideal for me

can anyone confirm the height 6.5l wilma pots??
heyboy
anyone? cry.gif
AustrianTokker
heyboy, they are 25cm high or almost 10 inches!!!

Square pots are a bit better to handle and make room more efficient.

cheers,

Heya , yore not supposed to add rootgrow at every pot up just the initial pot .
heyboy
do you think thats the problem??? unsure.gif

in flower i have to water every 2 days 4litre pots

the 2 plants in 5 litre pots every 3 days

could that cause skinny bud unsure.gif
heyboy
could someone move this thread to non organic / or additives unsure.gif cry.gif

skinny fluff buds are generally more of a lighting issue. They need more intense light. I've never heard of a healthy root system (which you have) causing fluff bud.

Yep it is. I just noticed it's a 600W HPS. Well thin wispy buds are a sign of lack of lighting intensity in my experience. If your buds are wispy down below it's probably due to your canopy being so dense. Personally with the room you have I would seriously consider a SCROG screen up each side of the walls, hang your lamp lower and take the reflector off. when that lamp gets old, consider a lamp that can hang vertically.

To make it really tits, put it on a linear rail and have it move back and forth along the room's length.

BTW I keep forgetting to add, that IS a mighty nice grow you have going on! thumbsup.gif

I agree on cropping plants, its the right thing to do, but I've also read where some of those sucker leaves also act as a buffer for drought and nute burn. I have seen with mine where I have underwatered or temp was too high and a lot of those leaves took the damage. So I have cropped, but only a little, preferring to use them as a buffer until I learn to grow better.

Likewise. I keep as many of my lower sun leaves as possible. They are store rooms of water and nutrients for the plant.

Now that I think about it, you just have to many plants in there! lol.gif
