Hello people,

started my new grow about 2 weeks ago. Started all from seed: white berry, pakistan valley, purple widow and some LR2.
Now I still got some room left for about 3-5 plants. Been looking for a plant which has little veg time, since it will be 3 weeks behind the others. The new seeds will get about 2-3 weeks of vegging only. Any recommendations...

thank you,

alright there buddy biggrin.gif

i'd go for a sat dom strain, something that will double in flower at least, which will help it catch up height wise with your other strains, sats usually need little veg time.....something like ghs lemon skunk, flowers in 9/10 weeks and isnt bank busting.........you can get in packs of 5/fems

There really isn't anything that will go well on just 2 to 3 weeks veg, you'll get nothing. That's probably why you aren't getting many suggestions.

Ok, Lets say 3-4 weeksveg. I've read on a couple of plant descriptions that you can switch to 12h cycle after 3 weeks. Like wappa from paradise, pakistani valley (which i will have for 5 weeks) or sensi star... although sensi star is a bit pricy!
I've also seen a skunk somewhere stretch to a meter after switching after 4 weeks...
Maybe there are a couple of people around who experimented wink.gif

why not fill up your spaces with some autos..... done in 10 weeks smile.gif

Just grow the plants you already have bigger with a bit of training, bending whatever, and fill out the extra space thumbsup.gif

You already got 4 different varieties going. Lucky bugger.

Think about what new seeds you want for your next grow.

Think that 2 - 3 weeks veg is not enough to get best from plant.

Well thats my stoned thoughts on the matter, hope it all goes well. spliff.gif

i flowered some after only 4 weeks, took one of them after 10 weeks and got a fairly low yeild. took another one at 12 weeks and the yeild was alot better... to me this suggests flowering before the plants show preflowers will give you a decent result, although will take longer for bud to fully develope. hope this helps!

I've read that autos won't produce a lot when swictched to 12h light cycle. So, my plan would be to veg my current plants for a total of 6 weeks. Might top the white berry, but haven't done such a thing before ohmy.gif
This should leave me about 4 weeks for vegging the new seeds... Wappa kinda looks good to me. But more reference would be great.... applause.gif

I put a lemon skunk in 12/12 at 4 weeks and she's looking good. The Big Bang I put in at 5 weeks is different and looking a but of a slow starter with bud development. I think what onehotminute said about the buds taking longer to develop is true.. You can shorten the veg time but the plant will go in to flower in its own time.

You are correct. LR2 likes to have the light on 24/7 all the way through, putting it under 12/12 means a lower yield. Still works though, and it's a very decent smoke.

Growing four strains at once will provide you with plenty of challenges, like when they grow to different heights, and become ready at different speeds. And require different feeding : the autoflowerers will want bloom nutrients from about week 4 or 5, probably, far sooner than the others. You really don't need to borrow trouble by adding yet another strain. And you say you have room for another 3 to 5 plants - I'll bet you don't. The plants like some space to grow in.

Best of luck with it.

Id go for something from Mandala. Speed Queen, Sadhu or Hashberry. Dont think you can get feminised, but they are cheap seeds. Usually very vigerous plants, but not the strongest buds. They used to have a presence in the Breeders section, but now I look and they are gone?
