im very confused about these, but to me - this says you are going to get the same results as a 400-600hps, has anyone experimented with these led lights?

I was looking at these last year, but they were so expensive then. But it looks like the price has come down a lot, so if they work as well as they say, they might be worth thinking about. The amount of leccy they would save would be worth the initial outlay. But do they work? I have no idea but I'd love to know!

just a quickie, done all this once and it crashed!! so here goes. spoke with the geezer from a supplier of the horticultural panels, I think if memory serves, they approx 40 or 45cm square, he said youd need six or seven of these panels to throw out the same amount of light as a 400w hps, now considering the amount of space these panels would take up ( its a large area for one 400w to cover) if you divide that size space by the amount of light given off, thats a piss poor amount of lumens or whatever light measurement theyre using, per square foot.
it sounded much better the 1st time i typed it out, sorry, in a rush now.

They're overpriced shite.
And the marketing is cynical in the extreme.
(shades of the over-sized fluorescents that people still believe are "cooler")
Save your money and spend it on better ventilation.
