I've decided that here is the best place to post a diary on a RSC strain.. or else it would be lost in the tons of grow diary. When the grow is done i'll make a short topic there too.

I have only put 4 seeds to germinate. The reason is that i'm afraid if the blue dot of my new brand of paper towel will intervene on the germination... it looks like i was right. Only 50% germinated at 48h. I'll try it again when i find my regular brand on the market. But i guess those 2 left won't germinate at all...



As soon as the roots showed some hair on it I transplanted to a Jiff... i prefer this way as a way to avoid burn in the first week.



I was planning to leave those 2 ungerminated seeds on a jiff and see if they have luck in there, but is my first time using this stuff... here were i leave don't sell this, i got as gift from a friend... don't know exactly how good it is... any suggestions ?

I'll keep you guys update when i have something better to show.

hey Nerd Weed, look forward to seeing how this goes, best of luck --- don't give up on those other two, at least one of them ought to pop --- just be sure to put them on fresh paper asap, or move them on to a block --- if you leave them on the same old paper for much longer they will be certain to rot, viable or not

I seriously doubt the blue dots will have any effect on germination --- the most important thing is to avoid leaving them in an enviroment which is host to pathogens like bacteria and fungus --- paper soaked in water for more than 48 hours will certainly start to be host to a lot of bacteria and fungi --- a key thing is to keep the enviro fresh and sterile for the early stages of growth

Namkha, they have all germinated well now almost getting to 72h. I changed the paper towel as i usually do, but i normally get 100% within 48h on other strains...

The paper towel problem wasnt only the ink, i mean, this paper was hard to drain excess water, but after a friend advised to put more paper and see if it gets the excess and it worked fine... now both seeds germinated, the one which looked fine and the other that seemed to be rotted

Until now i have gotten 100% germination rate... so far so good

Hey sticky black, thanks, I guess i'm getting what you wished... the seedlings are looking great ! Just wait a few days until i have something better to show.

Space is a tricky problem... i have Parvati to germinate too but i already have 4 sensi star at 2 weeks and 2 Mazar-I-Sharif from Nirvana(a friend gifted me) and my 2 EliteGenetic's gifted med seeds. Hope that in 2 or 3 weeks my SS are already flowering(or at least cloning) so i can start anothe 4-5 seeds grow.

The 2 Mazar-I-Sharif(one narrow leaft and other broad leaft) from Nirvana have are kind of stuck.. last time i fertilized with rock phospate(i guess the brazilian one is different from US's) they went crazy... have to take alot of care with the Ph and my meter is broken...

This is a thing i would like the clear in my mind... does RSC strains have any feeding issue ? or Ph ? I heard some one talking about alkaline soil and low fertilization on some strains, but is that a general matter ? i mean, does that region have a poor alkaline soil ? That would be great info for my and other people's RSC grows.
