i'm currently using 3x 20 watt spiral general electric's from asda (you know wal mart uk mad.gif ) at 2 quid odd a pop there not to dear and they are going well smile.gif

i did invest in some megaman liliput 30 watt bulbs but they get a little too hot, i'm going to try em again when i have my intake/extraction properly sorted... i hope to have close on 200 watts in my small cupboard when i finaley get to flowering my babies

i used the basic cfls for my propagator cab.

to veg you want a cool white (blue shade) and the warm white (basic off the shelf bulbs) to be effective , without the blue its a slow process im my exspirience but did work for me.

as for flowering ide use a big 250red CFL (1 bulb) rather than the warm whites , just be a waste of time if you aint givin them the spectrum and lumuns they need.

i used a bedside lamp when i 1st put my seeds under soil in an electric propagator, when they have started to break through i switch to stronger lights.
