Full Version: Is DP Brainstorm same as Hempstar?
Hi, Just got some Dutch Passion #1 and some Domina Star for my outdoor G grow this year and picked up the DP sales book in the shop. They show a strain called Brainstorm that is a new version of what used to be Hempstar so they say. Now I loved Hempstar the few times a good friend had some about 8 or 9 years back. Is this near? Just about to start my first grow in 25 years and was thinking of this. They state it's still NL5 X a haze..anyone have some reports?

Having harvested Brainstorm last year i can warn you if they are feminised 3/5 of my seeds showed hermie tendancies creating several male flowers however my crop was not seeded as i removed or tried to remove the male flowers before they could impact. My favourite strain last year was brainstorm and the hermie prob did not effect yield high or taste all excellent,soaring high that keeps you up till the early hours. Apparently it is a re worked version of the orig hempstar.
oh and buy the way i contacted said company to discuss my hermie problem and they counld not give me a deffinate answer however did replace the seeds
