just making sure before i buy the bloody thing, is a 100watt heater good enough for a 120 (ish) litre tank? it gets real cold too in the winter (without my heaters temps sometimes reach as low as 0.7C)

so I would guess it would be ok - take temps first!

I'd go with the 150w mate

100w would be ok if your water didnt get too cold to start with, but to keep it at 20 degrees go with the 150w
