So I'm in a new location which means it's time for a new grow box (plus I just need a project to keep occupied) and I've decided to use CFLs. While I was shopping around I saw a bulb that uses a different coating (TiO2) on the tube which releases ions which they claim eliminates odors and germs. My question is, is this process viable for eliminating the smell of a few plants? I can't believe it would be, but a man can hope, right?

As a follow up, I'm contemplating using a small ozone generator (the OZN-JR) to combat the smell if the bulbs are hooey, will 200mg/hr be enough to eliminate the smell? I would just rather use a silent pc fan than have to muffle a noisy inline fan.

Thanks in advance!

You would still need to deal with the smell come lights off.
