i tried searching but couldnt find this so i figured id ask

what strains do u guys recommend for a first time grower, pretty much the strains that allow u to mess up a decent amount
but still end up with a decent smoke

ive kinda been able to tell by reading other posts that white widow may be a good tough one to start with
is this true? and what are some others?
also, how much more difficult are sativas to grow?
i guess im assuming soil too, if that has any affect

not a pure sativa altough world of seeds have some pure landrace sativa's @ 8 weeks
depends really mate, what sort of smoke you like?

My first grow in mud is Big bang fems,chop at the weekend}
Second one just started is ak48 ,b52 big bang, normals,{hunt the male}
Weedio
Indica dom hybrid or pure indica.

Easy to grow as they don't go mental and finish fairly quickly.

I'd recommend Sensi Star, very forgiving plant and a really amazing high at the end of it.
Lots of diaries of it on here too.

I'd have a look at white rhino i grew that 1st time, didnt stretch to much, quick finisher at 8 weeks and seems to take a fair amount of abuse and still produce a good potent smoke with a decent yield.

Its also fairly easy to deal with nutes wise to wink.gif

Oh mine were from White Label Seeds pretty cheap to think they were £30 ish.

If you want to bypass the messing up stage then all you have to do is focus on reliability not yield. Do that and the yield turns up all by itself. I do passive hydro, about as brain dead as it gets, never any problems...a bit boring really, nothing to do all day but smoke weed.

They might seem pricey but check out the Paradise Seeds feminised range.

Have fun with your grow.

First few times I used seeds I got in bags, cheap alternative to spending cash just to fuck it up.

yea i know to not start with a sativa
i was just wondering about them

it will be a while before i get to do my first grow, but i figured if i can get in mind which ones
are the best to start with i can study those handful a little more until i get to grow

as far as what im lookin for im not real specific
i like being stoned, i like being high, lol.gif
i know it will be a stone since im obviously gonna start with a indica
but i def wanna try to grow some sats. after a grow or two with indicas
because u cant really buy sativas, and i just wanna know how they feel

The Pure, or bagseed if you have it.
Nausicca
The Pure does seem to be very vigorous and fungus resistant, but the stretch could an issue for some beginners.

I agree with this go for the nirvana ones, lots of people cut their growing teeth on these.

At the end of the day, i think the idea given here is, dont spend too much on seeds, and dont grow a notorious problem strain.
