thanks for dropping by - here's my dilemma............

i'm currently 5 weeks into 12/12 with ghs femmed AMS & i've no signs of buddage - so either i got crap genetics or my grotent is somehow allowing light in during the dark cycle.

i'm convinced the tent is tight, but my confidence is a bit low now (i've flowered before in it although i didn't have the inlet open - i'd be very surprised if light can travel upwards and around corners i dunno what's going on i'm puzzled)

so here's my question - shall i go for lowryder as i can be certain 100% they will defo get at least 4hrs of proper darkness? and at least this way i can have bud in 9 weeks from popping?

is lowryder #2 a stable breed? (other lowryders seem to be out of stock on seedsman) e2d - just checked the site again and now #2 is now outta stock - so feel free to discuss other lowryder genetics Edited again - i could go for regular #2 instead of femmed (you see what my failed AMS has turned me into - a nervous mess!

i've also got some mama mia seeds (8 week finisher alledgedly) which grow short - do i trust my tent and go with these or go for lowryder?

(just to go back to the light tight issues - my first grow was puker seeds NL, i had light leaks around the groundsheet (very noticeable but naive in approach ) and these flowered (i also have lights off during the day although the windows are covered with blinds, sheets and curtains - it certainly seems pitch black inside the tent??)

i don't know what to do and a bit low on confidence - if you could advise me on the worthwhileness of lowryder and any thoughts on my tent set-up would be massively appreciated

with the auto varieties your lighting for optimal growth would be 18/6
maybe that is why yours are taking so long

sorry monsta i didnt make it clear the AMS is not an auto - ive never tried autos before

I got 2oz per plant off some of mine, well worth it, don't forget to keep a male to pollinate a few buds so you have plenty of seed for future grows

that's a very good yield, more than i'd expect - was that from lowryder #2?

I have averaged 1 oz bone dry from LR2 inside & out. In soil with bio bizz nuits only.

Lr2 on NFT with canna aqua vega and flores. Got a great yield I was well impressed

i ask because the online store only has regular - i read a thread and one of replies the grower only had 1 fem out of 10, surely that's bad luck? any feedback?

I averaged 2 1/2 oz per plant on my LR2 grow. Give them loads of nutes and loads of light and youll get a good result.

PS afaik you cant get femmed LR seeds - I got about 60% fem from my seeds.

I tried growing some of them as a guerilla grow last summer - I didnt even get a spliffs worth off each plant :/ ( but we all know what last summer was like, and also some slugs got to them. )

i ordered a pack of LR#2 and was sent 5 fem beans instead, pissed, but hear if u use that collidial silver stuff on em they will self seed.
heard the best for LR#2 would be 6 - 7L pots and loads of light (prob 18 - 20 hours)

Yes very happy with outcome! Not the best but certainly better than any dealer weed! Very easy to grow!
