when this batch is done (only 2 weeks to go, ) im gonna try grobags oil method. however, the general consensus seems to be that the stuff must be dry.

Yeah it works on wet or dry trim. I tend to get better results with dry because the bud breaks up better, which I guess helps disolve the trichomes beter. So yep, you can do that.

Yes, as Blayz'd said, it can be done. With the added mass, from the water content, alot more of the butane will boil off than usual, so you might require another can. Also remember that fresh cannabis lacks potency before being dried, so any oil made from fresh cannabis will require a more lengthy curing period before it reaches it's peak potency.

this was the answer i was looking for really gunnaknow, think i'll dry it all properly now before i do it now.

better get the indoor drying room sorted (temps are crappy in the garage, damn this bad winter)
