Hi all, this is my first post on here so i'll make it short: I've recently decided to attempt my first grow in the near future, but i am having trouble deciding which strain: There are so many that i'd like to try, but there was one that seemed to speak out to me; Barney's Farm's LSD. Does anybody have any information on this strain? Would it be a good starting point, or just a waste of time? I've heard Barney's are generally pretty good, but since this is a strain i can't seem to find a huge amount of information about, i'm wondering if i should stick with something more widely known?

So to sum up, is LSD from Barney's Farm worth investing as a first grow?

Blue Cheese is not a short plant, by any means. Its not 100% indica. Its 60-40 Sativa i THINK. and stretches a lot.

For a stout indica, grow Sensi Star, its amazing plant but not the easiest to grow, fussy she is. And not cheap.

Look at other seed companies apart from Barney's Farm, there are many with better products IMO.
Peace
I ve enever tried or heard this strain (lsd), but mazar is famous for being strong and also gives headaches when smoked all day.

Why not try a good ol NL. Easy to grow, great high and descent yeilds.

well i've got 5 regular NL from puker (or is that pukka rofl.gif ) - i grew these for my first attempt (badly - mainly environment issues) i had from 5 seeds 3 males, 1 female, 1 hermy (i had seeds galore from both plants - about 1.5oz off each, the hermied plant wasn't really worth smoking the female was OKish)

with all the bad stuff i've heard about pukka i don't know if they're worth trying again?

ideally one day when i'm confident enuff i'll try cloning from regular pips

Look into Barney's Night Shade. Might be a little easier for a beginner.

Barney's Farm Cannabis Seeds - Night Shade (10 Seed Pack)

* 3rd Prize High Times Cannabis Cup Indica 2006

A wonderful blend from te Himalaya's. Mostly Indica - Night Shade grows short and fat, giving huge buds, a sweet pine scent and very strong. The effect is classic indica - heavy and stoney. The indica kick is unmistakable as it wraps around you and leaves you cosy and warm.

* Type: Indica dominant
* Genetics: Kashmir, Nepali
* Yield: Optimum indoor: 550gr/m2 height: 50-55cm - flowering time: 55-65 days
* Outdoor flowering time: End of September
* THC: 22% - CBD: 1.2%.

Purple wreck is a short plant & is a 8-9 weeker too.
Cant remember the way they meaure the THC in plants but i read its not very accurate. THC from different plants can affect you in different ways so i dont really pay much attention. TBH most of the time i think it goes against the strain as you expect anything over 20% to blow your head off & when it doesnt it can put you off growing that strain again.

I think the higher CBD ratio is how truly effective the THC is.
