i was just wondering, as iv never read anything on this subject before. i brought some pure concentrated blueberry juice from holland & barret (£10 for about 500ml) and i plan to add it with pure water for the plants last 2 feeds (when the time comes). will this enhance the plants final flavour or make no difference OR will it just fuck em up?? any suggestions appreciated smoke.gif

If I feed my apple tree orange juice do my apples taste of oranges?

Cant see it doing anything mate apart from possibly fucking it up.

Why change the taste of weed?

I use a lot of fish mix but my weed just tastes sweeter, not of fish.

I use a lot of bat shit and I know me buds don taste like shite! yes.gif

The fructose in blueberry juice might help the compost micro herds but molasses is better.

If plants could take sugars through their roots they wouldnt need leaves :]

Molasses/sugar is not for the plant, it's for the micro herds that help the plant.

To be honest, i think its pretty unbelievable that people do this. Acidity in the juice will no doubt cause problems with PH straight away. Plus the purity of the juice is already questionable...

Then I hear people think that doing this is why orange bud is called orange bud etc... Please people do your research! lol.gif.

If people with a good knowledge do this and have any reasons as to why, please enlighten me. But as far as I can see... pointless, good weed should taste good anyway if its been looked after!

i just thought that if there ready to be chopped anyway, and the soil is completely dry to the point of death, the plants would absorb anything that is given to them? meaning the juice would be in the bud,and it obviously wont matter about nute & ph problems as it would be chopped very soon after. i have no idea really, which is why im trying to find out, cheers 4 the replys ppl rofl.gif

as far as i know roots do not just suck up the fruit juice and transfer it to the buds...
thats just simply not how a plant works.
good luck with everything anyway.

If he cured it with a fruit in the jar, I know it will re-hydrate them a little, but would a taste carry over?

I've definatly read a topic on this before, somebody was talking about orange peels and coffee, think the conclusion was that it wouldn't do too much, but I guess theres only one way to find out.... I'd do a little test bud before doing the whole stash...

Just a thought on that tho, during the curing process, its effectivly all the moisture and sugar moving out from the middle of the bud out to the enviroment nothings getting "drawn into" the bud
