Full Version: Where to get a Door Zipper

Hi all im just finished my new grow cupboard and have left the door till last so was gonna use a zipper with b&w sheeting so i brought one and i stuck it on but when i went to unzip it all the way at the bottom there as a clip to stop the zip from seperating so that was no good so i need one that completly comes apart at the bottom so i can fully open the door.anyone know where i can get one??

Not taking the piss mate but use google theres loads of places or even fleebay its good for things like that.

Am not sure where on the high street you'd get them now a days prob some where that sells fabric etc

no it was the right way both ends had a little metal tab piece at the bottom of each end so that the zip wouldnt go past it.i googled and found some hydro shops but need to know for sure that they open up completely

I wouldn't worry to much if its from a hydro shop or not as they'll prob just charge you more than say a fabric shop or something.

found some on ebay eventually in sewing section but was now wondering how do you stick them to the B&W sheeting??

staple it to the sheeting with a strip of harboard running behind the sheeting (stuff behind picture frames)

be quite strong, I've done the same thing with velcro thumbsup.gif

google TARP ZIPPER DOOR and you will find self adhesive door zip doors.

easy stick to sheet of plastic stapled in place .
then open zip and cut plastic sheeting as you go job done.
