Full Version: Topping during flowering

Hi
I've kept my plants short by vegging under a MH, but when I switched to HPS for flowering, one of them has really taken to this light and is starting to stretch a bit while the other remains quite short and bushy. Is it OK to top the taller one?(as the side growth on this one isn't as good as the shorter one). I'm only on day 4 of 12/12.

Cheers
podgy
I think it might be better off tying it down and thining out the undergrowth...

I thought about supercropping but the side branches aren't very thick and I don't want to do any serious damage
