Hi everyone ive only got a 250w sodium son t, due to not having the space and equiptment, i was wondering wich seeds are ok to go into 12/12 from germination.? Ive herd Blueberry is a good one for this,as it would take around 11weeks in the whole cycle from germ to bloom,?Has anyone done this,?. As i would love to do my own clones ,but have not got the space , nor the equiptment.?

I tried that and imo it is a complete waste of electric get some auto's instead lowryder 2 or diesielryder you will get more weed in a shorter time

i can do a BB in 11 weeks with 3 weeks veg included, why go straight to 12/12

i put them in flower about 15-18" only cos i got height issues, they end up doubling in size and produce no less than an oz each min

cheers mate ive got height issues aswell,and have been doing doing the same sort of thing but with clones of a different species and putting to flower at about 12-15inch. you know i read on somewhwer that when growing under lights indoor its supposed to be most efficient to put to flower at 12 inch due to light penetration,ever heard anything like that..

my mate gets 5-6 oz dried and de-twigged from 4 clones under a 250w.
they are given to him and given 1 wk veg. it's a nl cross so you can, if need be, crop after 7 wk bloom .
forget 12/12 seed shennaigans, go the slow route. get clones. then you get the best out of your light. more bud, too.

I've grown a few seeds 12/12 from scratch and found the yeilds to be fairly decent and far superior to any lowrider strain.Have a look at SGB's last diary that shows plants grown 12/12 from seed here to see some decent results.

I'd look at something like northern lights as its a fairly quick finisher

build a mini clone box? plastic box / laundry thing, cfl + fitting, black and white and a tuppaware = £15 max

I did 12/12 from seed and its a waste of time IMO for the following reasons.

1. Hermy problems. If you flower a plant before it shows sexual maturity you are more likely to have a confused hermy plant. Not guaranteed, but more likely. (might be better to 12/12 with fems)

2. The yield is not great. This is as the rootball has very little time to develop.

3. With a lack of veg comes a lack of budsites.

thats just from my experience, i wont be doing 12/12 again.

something like panamanian red or alcapulco gold would be seeds id recomend for 12/12 from the start. Just find pure carribbean strains, it's nearly 12/12 all year round.

despite what you're being told, 12/12 from seed is a natural grow cycle for some strains. Mainly ones focussing around the equator

At last, Nice one Blazedmetal, for your reply dude i knew it had to be some kind of equatorial Sativa strain,but just did not know which type,of Sativa Could do this.I know that with Afganica,(Indica) strains definitely need a veg time of 3-4weeks, in 18/6. Otherwise there would not be any point,you would get real little harvests i know.The reasons Ive been asking this is because i just have the 1 grow/bloom area.I dont have the facilities to have both due to no space , and equipment.So its either one, or the other.I would love to do my own clones,but means another space, more electric,more equipment.I know its all worth it, but its not my house I'm afraid, so I'm stuck.So my options are i get some more clones of my pal.Or start a fresh from all female seeds.The man who i got them off last time is an old so called friend, who i dont really trust???. So Ive already told him that the last lot, went ages ago?,in an experiment.I dont want anyone to know.The only people who know ,is family who live here and thats it.!And i intend on it, staying that way.Ive an aquarium tube i suppose i could set it up so that it comes on early in morn,and when lights come on in bloom box i can put cutting or seeds,in there until its lights out,and put the cuttings, or seeds back under the CFL tube.This will definitely extend light hours,so will it be effective for me ?,.Anyone?.
Also its basically the Mexican Sativas, Caribbean Sativas What abot Hazes? And Thai Strains?Basically the more pure Sativa it is the better for the 12/12??Im not a fantasic lover of Sativas, i do like them ,but prefer a nice hybrid, with a nice Stoney and up high.The PPP WICH IVE JUST HARVESTED IS A NICE HIGH,BUT NOT AT ALL STONEY?.I FEEL LIKE I WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL,OR SUMMERT ON THE PPP?I LIKE A WEED THAT RELAXES ME MORE THAN A HIGH.?.So my Afgan Kush should do the trick when she is ready.?

yes, equitorial sats can live a whole 12/12 existence due to their heritage of being in a 12/12 cycle for all their life. However, it will still take a long time as eq sats can flower for up to 18 weeks.

You may also have to harvest diff parts of the plant at diff times. They will also get v tall. These strains do not apparently perform well indoors and can be hard to cultivate.

Well i think it all depends on how long you are willing to waite, and also your skills at bending,and super cropping.?

Hi everyone Ive decided to go into 18/6 for a bit,after i harvest.Well i want to see what my AFGHAN KUSH is like i might want to re-generate her?.As well as grow more seeds.Ive found a Few good fat looking seeds in the PPP that Ive harvested and maybe more??.Will these be ok?I'm dying to grow em.?Also i managed to get some Hermi pollen and cross it with my AFGHAN K, i wonder what that will bring ?(HERMIE'S)???.I know i cant count on these seeds that Ive managed to produce myself! but dont think theres no harm in trying.Ive been told the PPP SEEDS ARE TINY, AND THESE ARE MEDIUM SIZED TO FAT WITH STRIPES.??? (I THINK I DID LET SOME POLLEN OUT ). Space is a issue .But am looking for some fresh Seeds,and like i said have not decided yet wether I'm gonna re-veg my AK.? Will see.Still have not chosen which seeds to go for next.?Would appreciate it if someone could tell me more about my seeds.Also i know that you have to out breed the STRAIN at least five times for the STRAIN to become UNIFORM?.Is this important to me.? Ive also given up on the idea of growing in 12/12 from seed as i'm after Indica/dominated strains which deffinately a veg period.
