hi guys, got a problem at the moment concerning temp, i think the plants are changing colour due to cold temps, the thing is i dont relly want to put any heaters in my room for safety reasons, ive included a pic for you to see and would like to know what you think, is there a cheap and safe heater i can use if this is the prob ? cheers

Doesnt really matter what the temps are mate, them plants are dying due to the cold
Ideally minimum lights off temps...20 degrees

Tube heaters are good so long as your space isnt too big, they are splash proof too.

high there. Screwfix do a 120w & 180w tube heaters. £15 & £20. They do a good job. You can place them on the floor keeping ya medium at a good temp and allso ya growroom. Good luck.

yeh must be temps ,b4 light came on other day it was just 10c. im gonna pick up a tube heater ,20 pound not too bad if it saves em !!!!! cheers

High mate. Maybe not the badly discoloured leaves. But new growth will love that extra heat.

Heya Mono , ive seen the small ones from b&q with thermostats but the lager greenhouse type ie 60w plus , i could not source , they do a plugin thermostat , i bought one but to be honest i put a couple of tube heaters in the room and they hold spot on so i can not give you how good/accurate the thermostats are , i paid 15 quid btw , good luck .

You can run them on a thermostsat but they probably wont turn off much at this time of year so providing your lights on temps are good you could just use a cheap timer to turn it off at lights on. Mine are on 24/7 with the current cold temps.

i'd put heat mats under the pots too, it's all very well having the canopy warm but the roots are more important to your final product.

no the screwfix heaters dont have thermo but my room is steady now at 25c, id say theyre well worth 20 quid
