I purchased a "1000w diamond grow light" from greens and I have just tried to set it up but it seems the Male I.E.C fitting (kettle plug) is the wrong size for the ballast.

I thought the light was plug and play seeing as they are advertising it as complete light. Do I need to rewire the I.E.C plug with the correct fitting?

surely not , they must have sent something wrong ! double check the ballst matches lamp size ?
im no expert but, you shouln't have to re-wire new stuff, maybe wire it but not re-wire. o mery xmas

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well but I'm afraid to return the reflector as this is already the third one I've received as the last two arrived damaged. Although this was couriers fault and green's service was spot on in sending out the replacement quickly.

speak to them im sure they'll sort it, when i needed to phone them , it took a while for em to answer, but they sorted it,
