Has anyone tried to get oil from bubble water sludge?
If you strained the water through some fabric that would trap the sludge could you use iso" to extract the oil?
I'm thinking of giant coffee filters laden with resin but you can't scrape it off, soaked in iso and then the liquid evaporated off as normal.
Any ideas on this?

The sludge left after a decent 25um bubblebag is just that buddy, even if you do manage to get a joints worth after all the aggro it is a shit joint I'm afraid & just sediment, I tried it once & will never bother again

I used to think that whenever I was using a tuppaware a wooden spoon a sieve and an old shirt to make bubble.
I can always get a couple of extra doobies by running the water through an old shirt after the 25 baggie, sometimes I get a lot more.
Most of the time I get zilch from the 75 baggie but loads from the 25. My thinking is that my trim has small resin glands (most of the time) and if I could get a 15 or 10 micron baggie it would be better - gotta catch 'em all
All the same your right about the expected quantity for oil, I never got to smoke any of my last attempt, it was only a little, but it proved too sticky for me to deal with, and most of it ended up stuck to my fingers and jumper.

wouldnt a 15 or 10 micron bag just catch all the plant matter as well??

What bag set do you own buddy becuase that sounds wrong? Have you got a genuine bubble bag set or the cheapy set from EDIT? Becuase if you have got cheapy bags then your probably letting all the good hash go through the bags & catching very little indeed as the smallest bag is not much finer grade than the bubbleman 220um workbag!

I get most of my yield in the 73um & the 90um bags, I forget about the 45um as the 25um has so little it's not worth splitting those grades.

Check your bags, if you can poke a human hair through the mesh then it is no smaller than 90 - 100um!
