Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you had any opinions as to which white widow seeds were the best? I want to go for feminised seeds and was planning a greenhouse grow. I was going to go for the flying duthmen variety...what do you reckon???

i have tried white label WW fem before, excellent

white label are available on the sensi seed bank website, other seed banks i have bought from, have had good and bad outcomes, only ever been good from sensi seeds

Mr Nice seeds don't do female seeds do they?

Greenhouse seeds white widow in my sig below, good easy strain to grow, good success with cuttings and easy to keep a mother plant.

however it needs to be cured for at least 2 months to get a any sort of flavour and i only had 3 out of 10 (free) seeds popped, luckily all 3 were female.

I have not grown any other type of white widow so i can't compare but black widow from mr nice is supposed to be the original.

I agree i did White label too few years ago and must agree it was mindblowing smoke(i still remember and will grow her again no doubt),atm i got 20 greenhouse white widows and they look great but dont have that strong and sweet smell as WL s so i think ill stick to first one (white labels)

Ministry of cannabis puts out a White Widow variety that is exceptional. One of the few strains they offer... avail in both feminised and regular versions.

Never grown it myself but friend has, was Sensi's if memory serves. Awesome smoke and there is no way he would have the willpower to cure for anything close to that amount of time

I Grew Green house seeds white widow, and for the first few months it tasted 'earthy' but after 2 months curing it got sweeter. I've had some in a jar now for 6 months or so and the taste is better still. A friend who knows his stuff even said it has gone slightly fruity.

all in all i just found the longer it has been cured it has become much tastier, cos lets face it even the best white widow is pretty average compared to other strains currently on the market IMO. although in it's defence its a really easy strain to grow

Mr Nice black Widow is the original White widow.

Dutch Passions one is meant to be strong too but never tried it.

de shaman make what they claim is the real original. they are pricey, about 50 squid a pack(12 normal seeds)
i believe femaleseeds are going to send out their strians soon, i liked their widow. as said before, more about ease of grow than potency.

i'd go with greenhouse white widow myself, its the original version and probably one of the cheapest for fem seeds

I'm growing Dutch Passion WW fems and the bitches are fierce! As they grow they take on more of the sativa tendencies, or so it seems. The first few weeks of flowering they more than doubled their size and will easily be 3x when done. I know someone else who has grown these and they appear to reach the same milestones at the same time. Genetics, utterly fascinating!

I don't have any other reference however, this is my first grow. I will just say that they are growing fine in my cabinet of plant torture.

Whoah that g/h white widow is lookin real nice!!! Thanks for the reply, I think I might go for the white label version now as a few of you seem to recommend it. I reckon you'll have a nice old crop there if you've got 20 of those bad girls!!!

Shantibaba of greenhouse invented a strain called white widow. He left greenhouse and started mr nice seedbank. As any info you will find on the net will tell you, shantibaba has improved upon the original white widow and that is what black widow is now called, so it can't be the original.

Also at the same time, ingerman was breeding and also created a strain called white widow. Both people claim to be the father of white widow. That debate still continues.

Well putrid, if my ww turned out like yours I'd be well chuffed!!! Only thing is there's no way I could let it cure for 2 months... I haven't got the patience!! Reckon I'll go with white label but thanks loads for your reply.

Just had a look at their website, haven't come across them before but they do sound pretty good, will have a proper look later, still reckon I'm gonna go with white label at the moment tho, thanks for your reply.

Im growin dp widow at the mo, and gotta say its a very nice smoke, easy to grow, usually get around 2-3oz a plant dry from 2 week veg and 10 week flower under a 600,makes lovely bubblehash and BHO as well, but its not the real deal, so soon as i get the MNS BW its outta my mother room.

The big one ive been waitin for is the medicine man which is black widow crossed with a afgani, supposed to be seriously potent. thats due same time as the BW restock.

Since gettin into this growin lark ive read a hell of a lot about strains and shantibaba defo has the best imo, real old school genetics from sam and nev.

would rerally like to know where that De Sjamaan's widow came from etc as he claims its the original but not really seen much about that when trollin the forums.
