I seem to have bought the worlds smallest grow tent (actually it wasn't a mistake I have no space!) but I need to grow something which wont get higher than about 1m...any ideas?

I'm confused about the options and could with a point in the right direction.

You could lst them - go 12/12 from seed in smaller pots say 7l - top them at roughly half the height you want em to finish....loads you could do mate! Ive got a budbox L but i cant set it up and am thinking of deliberately getting the one metre vegging tent to flower in as its all the space i cna afford here.

Look through the diy section theres loads of drobe grows that are about that size and a lot that are smaller even.

dont pot your plants well, keep them cold and they'll stay small if there indica dominant....mine did, look in my diary....(link)

lowryders and an option i suppose although ive been assured that flowering form seed works just as well and you get a lot more choice.

Grow anything you want! My space is no higher than yours (though I use cool tubes), I'm flowering AK-47, Bubblegum, Afghan, Kali Mist, in that height and veggin the same plus malana & (haze x WR) in less height...

What sort of lamp are you using ?

Training man. That should keep your plants at the height you want. Blab grows in a box a mouse would have a hard time living in. He trains. So if your limited with space get yourself an indica dom strain and train it to fit.

I grow in 1200 mm including lights so have to have my plants finish at around 600mm...I just top them early and then keep topping and bending them so that when they do flower they have multiple growing tips that don't stretch anywhere near as much as a single tip does.Its amazing how much abuse cannabis can take and still carry on regardless

Don't touch lowryders just for the sake of little height IMO, far better off growing a 'proper' strain and just training it

I agree with others, grow what you like and train. You've more height than me, and I don't really feel in any way restricted. Topping and training

If you 12/12 from seed as already suggested you'll get nice compact plants. I tried a Pandora's Box at 12/12 from seed, and she's on day 62 of about 70....just a shade over 2ft tall...about 66cm....would easily sit in a small budbox with vertical room to spare. Photo below. HTH.

12/12 for Sats maybe and even then they will not be small plants.... but if you 12/12 hybrids from seed you end up with tiny plants / buds.... normal growing methods with vegging and maybe training etc will give you more bud with hybrids or indicas in a 1.2m growroom.

These plants aren't trained coz I'm lazy but the tape measure is @1200 mm, its a mix of plants 2 month veg in MH and now a month in flower in HPS but they were grown using normal growing methods, normal temp and normal veg
