hi guys, i was just browsing some seeds on the net, and came across a description of dutch passion skywalker:

QUOTE
Blueberry (1st prize HTCC 2000, 3rd prize HTCC 2001) and Mazar (2nd prize HTCC 1999, 2nd prize High Life Cup 2002) are the two unbeatable Indicas in our seed collection. Skywalker is a hybrid product of a Mazar female and a Blueberry male.

The intention was to create one of the best Indica's in the world. The special Blueberry taste and aroma are combined in this hybrid with the vigour and yield of Mazar.

Blueberry characteristics such as “curling leaves”, slow initial growth, and bluish hues have disappeared in this hybrid.

Grown from clones at “sea of green”, these seeds will yield about 400 gr. / m2 under optimum conditions.

i found the part where it says "blueberry characteristics such as curling leaves" interesting, as i am currently growing barneys farm blue cheese, and have experienced leave curling on the biggest and oldest plant for most of its life. now im very willing to accept that its my bad feeding and watering schedule that has caused this, as its my first grow and im still getting a feel for my plants, but i was just wondering whether this is a known trait of blueberry crosses? some of the other guys growing bluecheese at d mo have been experiencing problems that they cant find a cause for, but again i think in those instances it is that persons first attempt also.

anyway any replies would be cool

It's a trait of Original Blueberry & it's quite likely this is passed on to some of it's descendent's .... cool.gif

cheers for clearing that up mate, its just ive resigned myself to the fact that im not going to get near the harvest i was expecting, but shes really been perking up since ive been feeding her, so lets hope i dont muck it up- checked max temp lights on last night, got to 37!!!!!! yikes!!!! they looked a bit droopy but im sure they'll get over it!!
nice one fella!

edit: i forgot to add, barneys blue cheese is a cross between big buddah cheese and og blueberry, so its likely some of my leaf curling could be down to genetics. i like to think thats the case anyway whistling.gif

Yes ..sorry Owd ... not a trait at all .... just an occasional aberration ...

cool guys cheers for the replies owd, raz, bart and anaconda, nice of you to give me your highly regarded opinions!
yep up until today i was sure that i had overwatered and both overfed then underfed her, it was just reading that description earlier made me think...

anyway shes well on her way to recovery now, that pic is from a 3 or 4 days ago, and compared to how she has looked for the past 2-3 weeks id say shes shaking it of (fingers crossed). i think when i repotted her i overfed her with too much seaweed extract (i hear they can be high in N) and she was put into biobizz allmix. then i think i held off the ferts too long, until she was 2weeks into flower. anyway now shes looking better, im giving her a feed tonight of 1ml biogrow, 2ml biobloom per litre and some epsoms, same as what her sisters had last night. i might post a pic of her in this thread before i do to get your opinions on the proposed feedstrength.

anyway you can see her in my diary at the bottom of my post if ur interested
thanks again for taking the time to reply, and now i know leaves like mine are a sign of too much N doh.gif biggrin.gif
