Has anyone grown Trainwreck before and if so how long did it take to finish.
Just wondering as im 7 weeks and 3 days in now.
Gagging for a decent smoke

I heard its mean smoke and it smells like that to,try to find Vigor s threads has a Twreck grower for a long time (i guess he sticks with it for a reason

Ive not grown trainwreck myself, but my mates done it a couple of times now, his finish inbetween 58 days and 66 days. You got a loupe or microscope to check the trichs?

I'm doing Trainwreck right now... almost in the same spot as you mate! Buds are milking up, but wont be ready for a couple more weeks. I would have said between 55 - 65 days... depends on the trichs of course.

Are you growing the Original "cut only" Version or the Hacked version?

the 'hacked' version is a pile of im afraid i know a few folk thats grown it out and it tastes like crap

My next grow will be Trainwreck i got the seeds from homegrown fantaseeds in the Dam. . How do they rate my green friend

'hacked' means that a plant thats only available in clone form (like trainwreck and uk cheese) then its crossed with another strain to produce seeds.

Thanks for clearing that up for me dude! I am always looking to further my knowledge in the quest!

start in small pots mate and regularly repot to supply fresh food and new root space

and read like youve never red before

take a look at some grow diaries using your choosen method

First grow eh? Well i would be giving myself a fat spliff and a pat on the back coz I for 1 think they look pretty damn good!(but i am a newb myself so i could be wrong!)

I would say that you could carry on with the same nutes, I thought this was your first grow?? I am not sure on those nutes AS I USE CANNA AND ATAMI MYSELF.

Grown in compost and fed Bio-Bizz. bio grow.bio bloom and Top max.
You dont really need the top max but thought i`d give it a go.
Seems like a cool strain to me

it dont look like theres long left mate , i reckon 10-14 days maybe

try a small lower bud if you must , but id try and leave her be

try and get a microscope mate , or jewlers loupe

For the Arcata TW only clone no seed, the longer i let my TW flower the more hash taste it will give when flowers are smoked. I like to wait till they turn purple. 12 weeks sounds good to me
I agree on the weird taste, but i kind of like it It's fruity minty dead wale at the same time and it tranculizes the survace of your tongue
The smell is pretty strong, one of the strongest i've smelled.
I grow it on compost/dirt add NPK, mg and lime to it and they only get fed tab water. I like to throw in a few worms here and there.
The hit will make you max stoned as high at the same time.
Don't smoke to much of it in in short period of time as it will fully hit you after 30 minutes. Seen many mates turn white and puke.
Don't let anyone at the pub puff with you as you'll be standing alone after 30 minutes, everyone goes home and wants to sit down as they're bummed. Not an every day smoke for most.
Anyways i smoke it during work
Since i made hash and BHO out of it i only smoke hash and i've noticed that BHO will fook you up good so i'll stay away from that for a while

I've had 5 TW's 3 meter high in the back garden and one produced a few seeds, i'll test out what it will do probably got pollonated by some other plant outside. Never had a herm from the cut.
I'll pop em after a few months.

I got a tw cut from a friend and it went purple , was a really good tasting weed , strong aswell , made you cough , you could feel it on the lungs ,satavia ,a creeper allround a keeper ( got 2 in veg )

Just wondering what im looking at re T.W being ready to harvest.
Am i right in assuming trichs first go milky then amber and when they turn amber
it`s time to chop.
Ideal stone would be trippy at first then semi coma (couchlock)
This my first grow so completly in the dark on this and any help would be most

Yep they go cloudy/milky then light amber then dark amber if left to long,i'm working with woodhorse seeds trainwreck IBL and i let them flower until most are milky with a few amber and a few clear .

Yeah ready for harvest.
Make some BHO of it if you want to go offtrack Takes a few days to get back on track though. I'm not touching it for a while after mistaking a bike path with a ditch full of water haha, in the middle of the night splash straight into it without hasitation so i guess it gives you a trip Brrr very cold
One A class hash joint puts me down for a few hours also.
IMO this strain has an addictive feel to it and i'll never stop smoking it

hey assassin ive done pretty much the same as you have without the topmax i got 7 tw's on the go not huge bounty but like you say it does look like a hell of a smoke i'm 8 weeks on flowering so only a week or so to go if you have 5 mins take a look at my pics and see what you think my 1st tw too think it will be worth it smells beautiful

i grew two phenos from greenhouse, diary is around somewhere, one finished at 8ish weeks and one around 10..taste was ok but nothing like minty dead whale, unfortunately...
