Hi,
Admittedly this is my first grow but I have had help from two good friends who have both been growing for a year. And generally agreed is that my environment is spot on and I have done everything 'by the numbers'.
Now I know growing cannabis is not an exact science and cannot be broken down into a formula for guaranteed success, but I don't seem to be doing too well at all.

I germed the seeds over a month ago, and have had nothing but problems. 8 out of 10 seeds germed, one is showing very bizzarre growth patterns (twisted, almost spiral leaves), and another has a strange 'pigment' problem (since sprouting, it has had sandy light green texture all over the leaves, and looks and feels very dry even though I've done nothing differently).

As soon as I started seeing proper leaf growth, they all simultaneously came down with LSF. The worst hit are the two 'mutant' looking freak plants. I have been combatting this with Webby's Essence, and I can certainly vouch for the effectiveness of it, but unfortunately they just are not growing quick enough for the rate at which I'm having to remove infected leaves.

I know I need to have patience, and let it play out etc. which is exactly what I plan to do, as painful as it is..

But my reason for posting is, I want to know if anyone else has grown this strain and has had similar problems, or is it just shit luck on my part? I've tried searching, but found nothing.

Cheers

Dude, there will always be runts in tha pack, from a pack of ten seeds you will be lucky to get 4 females thatare worthy or mother status.

Twisted leaves and slow growth are signs of mutation, i persoanlly bin them as they are weak.

Find the strongest one and take cuts.

Peace

Cheers for the reply dude.
I always expected there to be runts, but 4 writeoffs out of 10 seeds, leaves 6, and if I were to get the 50/50 m/f ratio, that leaves 3 'healthy' females. Not to mention the fact that they don't seem to be very resillient to airborn nasties. Even the Swiss Mix that came free with my seeds (I germed out of curiosity), seem to be more hardy plants - I know they're supposed to be outdoor 'ard nuts, but as freebies, I'd expect the Misty to be genetically of a higher quality. sad.gif

If they do make it to the end of veg, I'm not even sure about cloning them. I may just get some Skunk #1 - Seems to be rare that they suffer these problems, being a very well established strain.

3 females to select as possible mothers is not a bad return from 10 pack of seeds.

think, half roughly will be male, so out of 5, you have 3.

60% return aint great, but not bad. Plus im sure once u are blazing your buds off you wont be complaining.... clown.gif
