Any light on a 12 hour cycle will induce flowering. You just wont grow very good buds.
If your going to buy a light for flowering i'd seriously consider a small hps. I've been there and done that with enviro's and they just dont cut the mustard. It's only a matter of 50 watts on the running costs too.

you will induce flowering, but for the amount of bud you will got, its a false economy.

Well worth the investment ....

cheers guys. i just wanna sex the plant as buying the bulb for it to turn out male would be even more false ecconomy. im growing in a converted filing cabinet and lacking good ventilation so hps is out of the question and looking like ill soon be running out of room, guess i may have to bite the bullet and change the bulb.

If you dont want to spend money on proper extraction then i would save my money and carry on with the blue as it probably wont make a huge difference.
