Full Version: Yellowing of the leaves spreading

I have a Powerplant grow just entering its 3rd week of flower. About a 1.5 weeks ago I started to get yellowing of the leaves near the bottom. From pics on here it looked like either a N or Mg shortage. I read that powerplant in particular uses alot of Mg during the stretch period of flowering. So I gave it a dose of epsom salts (1 teaspoon to 1ltr) and an extra ml of grow to the 1ml Grow & 2ml Bloom mix (ot1) I've been feeding it every other water. However the yellowing started spreading up to the middle and now is at the top! Nearly all of the leaves below the top have died and fallen off and now its affecting these top leaves too.

As this is only my 2nd grow I decided to use this plant as some training for some LST bondage. I got lucky when she turned out to be a lady. I've about 8/9 bud sites and up until now was very proud of my little baby. She looked healthy and was responding well to the training. I thought I was starting to get the hang of this growing lark but now I'm afraid shes going to go belly up or it'll seriously affect the size and quality of my bud. Anyone got any advice?

Soil - BioBizz Allmix
Temps - 19/28c
Humidity - 20/50%
Feed - 1ml Grow & 3 ml Bloom (3rd week of ot1's schedule)
Pots - 7Litre
Lights - 200w Red & 125w Blue Enviros.

thanks for the quick reply jiffa

I haven't been doing any pruning bar picking off a few dead leaves. The thing is 2 weeks ago while she was as healthy as. Do you reckon theres anything I can do to save her? Is it even worth saving??

I was looking for a bit for chrimbo, I wasnt expecting much tbh. I would be happy enough if I got 1oz dry.

1oz? You'll be lucky if you get an 8th dried mate.

Not too sure where you've gone wrong, but were you keeping that plant so small for a reason? How much room do you have?

I know I wont get that now, sad.gif its just what I was originally hoping for.

The drobe is 60 X 23 X 19 inches.

I wasn't intentionally keeping it small. I just started lsting and after 5 weeks of veg threw her into flower and thats when the yellowing started.

Ok thanks mate will post sooner in future.

Any ideas on how to stop the yellowing? Might as well see this grow out for the experience.

Just water for the next few waterings when they need it - then 1ml Grow & 1ml Bloom.
dam
it looks enviromental, temp/humidity problem but so hard to tell
i would also recommend just growing a plant out normally!, until you can grow well dont experiment, you have plenty of time for that unless your terminally ill in which case i apologise

Ok thanks for the advice. I'll try watering for a few days and then 1ml grow & bloom.

I'll report back in a bit spliff.gif
