3-phase is usually for commercial leccy as residential leccy is 1 phase afaik

Here is a link which shows you how to wire a 3 phase plug

http://www.3phasepower.org/3phasewiring.htm

You could also google it

good luck - and safe wiring

that links for american wiring, we don't use high leg deltas over here

whats on the other end of the cable? what type of plug is it?
If ias a balanced load (motor ect) in the uk the brown is L1 black is l2 and blue,L3,if its a motor and it goes around the long way just reverse l1 and l2.However strictly speaking blue is reserved for neutral so double check as it could be a 2 phase and neutral supply

think his problem is the pins fell out, with the l1, l2, l3 etc on them and needs to know which order they go back in?
Lungs
As long as you are not using three phase motors or fans the order in which you connect is not important
if you has three Phase equipment wire up in any order if fans or motors run in reverse just swop any two phase's
hope this helps
