The plant stops growing when pollonated and puts all her strenth into growing seeds before the winter comes and kills her off.
Peace,

I disagree.
It is not uncommon practice to seed a single branch with pollen previously obtained for the purpose of obtaining seeds. The rest of the plant carries on pretty much as it would normally.
Good luck hunting bananas Raptor, you'll need it.

Hiya Nigfis,
I'm talking about the whole plant getting pollonated, not just a branch. Should have been more clearer.
Peace,
GG
Yeah. I was being a bit pedantic.
I just don't worry about a few seeds any more mate. The thought of chasing male pollen sacs all over a plant just sets my tuner to 'snooze'.
I think if I was that fussed, I'd probably just remove the suspect plant and kill it, or catch myself some seeds in a decent grinder.

........ And you never know, in today's anti-anything climate, the sale of seeds may yet suddenly be outlawed by Jaqui Hard-on-for-anything-even-slightly-suss....

Maybe my methods are a little more laid-back than some.
