DO NOT SMOKE DURING THIS IT USES FLAMMABLE GAS/LIQUID
Step 1
Get your weed/buds and dry them out with a blow dryer or something of the sort.
Step 2
Pulverise your buds/weed into a powder by whatever means, I would recommend a kitchen liquidiser.
Step 3
Find yourself a plastic tube and seal one end.
Step 4
In that end of the tube punch 1 hole about the right size to fit the nozzle of a lighter gas refill can.
Step 5
Fill the tube from the other end with the pulverised cannabis (1oz or 28grams)
Step 6
Seal the end that you just tipped the cannabis in through.
Step 7
Punch several small holes in this end
Step 8
Smash the refill can down on a hard surface until gas is uncontrollably spraying out
Step 9
Place the nozzle in the end with one hole, the other end should be over a glass
Step 10
Wait until all liquid has drained through the little holes into the glass
Step 11
Open the tube and place all weed/buds into the glass and cover
Step 12
Stir periodically for an hour
Step 13
Filter the contents of the glass and discard the used cannabis
Step 14
Leave the liquid to evaporate until gooey and there you have it cannabis oil.

Right step 1 is shite...
STEP ONE....thoroughly dry your airbuds and leaf trimmings by naturals methods....don't use good buds, you'll be disappointed, use waste/trimmings...
STEP TWO....powder them as fine as possible in a grinder...wear a dustmask..(like Altern8)...stops you sneezing and looks techie/impressive to anyone with you...
STEP THREE...don't use plastic, some nasty chems can be released from PVC/plastic on contact with the butane...use a copper tube, get some plumbing pipe.a foot or so is enough.from the plumbers mechants....you should alsoi be able to get two copper PUSH ON endcaps...NEVER screw on...
STEP FOUR...punch a single hole in one end cap...use a nail or a drill...yes, it should fit an adaptor from a lighter refill....
In the other endcap, punch a number of holes...place a piece of arsewipe, economy stuff works best, inside the endcap, and ppush it onto the bottom end of the tube....
Secure this end with Gaffa tape or something...
STEP FIVE....fill the tube with the powdered trim....and put on the top cap..(the one with the lighter refill adaptor in it......Secure the top cap with some Gaffa tape too, but not so secure, if the pressure builds up you want the top cap to blow, not the bottom one.....(I've done this scores of times, and only had one endcap blow off...no danger though)....
Step 6 and 7 are now redundant...

Don't know what this is all about....IN FACT TAKE NO NOTICE OF THE ABOVE FROM STEP 8 ONWARDS......It's absolute shite...
You need to get a VERY firm grip of the tube., make sure you use at least two layers of material, and oven gloves if you got them to hold the tube.....you really need two people, one to hold the tube steady, and one to control the gas.....
Push the lighter refill steadily and firmly into the adaptor at the top of the tube, and hold the multipunctured end over a pyrex mixing bowl......
You will notice the tube frosting and freezing on the outside(that's why you got them gloves on), the nothing will come out for a while, but KEEP holding the can into the adaptor, eventually you'll hear this hissing sound, and the green gold liquid sprays from the bottom.....
It collects in the bowl, bubbling furiously sa it's way over its boiling point, wait patiently, I sometimes stand the bowl in a shallow pan of hot water to sppeeed up the evaporation process........
When you got a thick black tar like gunk, you're nearl done, but leaveit out in a warm place overnight, stir it with a match now and then and this should get ALL the butane out, don't want to be smoking that shite......Good luck with it, let us know how you get on...

To add to the above - It's best to use a 1.5mm drill bit for making the holes in the end bits. Just the right size to stick the bigest butaine nozzal cap in to.
Q: Is it best to us 2 cans of butaine or will just the one do.

I used a metal work vice to hold the tube
HIGH all what do u mean dont use plastic tubeing. I got my self a honey bee extractor for this job cst me £20 and is made of plastic has any one usd one and know if it safe. Thanks BGK

I tried some honey oil for the first time at the Cup this year and have to say it blew my friggin socks off
The geezer at the Honey Bee stand heated up a gass pipe for me then dropped a big dollop of the stuff in. Within 10 secs my head was spinning, I quickly darted to the corner of the room where me legs gave way and where I was comatised for a good 4 hours or so
This stuff was VERY trippy about on par with shrooms. I felt well bent, I even had some lady come upto me spaying some lavender spray stuff on my face to help me round a bit
I did buy the Honey Bee but in future will only be putting on the outside of a cigarette or on the outside of a spliff.
If in doubt just take small amounts is my new saying

The oil is STRONG.... , not as strong as the bubble hash....and less of a mad high than the bubble too....
the taste is not very good, but in small quantities in a lean bifta pretty good for stealth smoking...
the aroma not quite as pungent or distinctive as nice hash or bud, so get away with it...

Hi all, have just come back from a fact finding mission, and Wickes have the pipe below, for £2.90 something, as you can see, it comes with two well fitted plugs, and a rather handy grip shape down the length of it. If I didn't know better, I'd think it was purpose designed, what do you think?

exactly how does the butane force the extraction? im a little confused by this process, but im extremely interested in making oil.
the butane acts with the thc like a solvent, so all the thc is "absorbed" into the gas as it is run through the tube, the mixture then runs off into the bowl, then the gas evaporates leaving you with thc oil.

I’ve been doing the butane since I saw the glass bottle with a hole drilled in it on here. The butane evaporates and the oil this method makes is the best you can smoke and I used to do it with IPA and a condenser. If you burn some on a knife it smells like really good solid.
I was happy with this but for the best hit from your trash after this posting the other day all my shit is know going into cooking!!!!!

Have to agree, cooking is the only way you get all the plants potential, i cook even with the highest quality buds, for me living with chronic pain i find eating it gives me a good nights sleep and almost total pain relief, i ate some last night about seven had about 1.5 grams and im still stoned now, another advantage at least for me is that i never smoke when i have eaten some i dont need to!!! all the best, BBB

thx webby. i'll take a look right now, but just in case this isn't answered in the video, i have another rediculous question.... when using trimmings to make the oil, do you only use the leaves surrounding the bud areas, or can you use EVERY leaf on the plant? 
I made a good batch out of my trash leaf. The better the leaf the more oil though I presume.
I just used everything, stalks an all. Does no harm
