I was given what was meant to be some original UK cheese clones from a mate who claimed to have had the plant in his family for 10 years, i have no reason not the believe the lad. I also started big buddhas cheese at the same time. The plants look totally different & they dont really smell like each other either. The UK cheese stinks! The plants were just under average height, i topped both versions out at 8" & all 5 BB cheese (started from female seeds) were bigger than the UK cheese. The UK has lots of 3 bladed leafs that afe very short & fat, i would say they look mor afghani than indica, whilst the BB has your average 5 bladed indica type leafs. The UK was ready 1st. Ive been drying for 11 days & its almost ready to try before i jar it, it has already started to stink, its a very strong skunky smell. it can even be smelt over the smell of a drying trainwreck plant if you are stood in front of it & the UK is a foot away! I can tell that its going to be nice, i just hope it is the UIK cheese!
The BB cheese produces a lot bigger plants, they also look atleast a 1/3 bigger yield. They dont look as nice either (the fan leafs on the UK have turned orange) & the smell is average & without the "special" smell you expect to get with cheese.
I know its hard to tell what a plant is without smoking it & seeing it in person, but if anyone has grown the original cheese does it frow 3 bladed leafs & is not very big but stinks?

I'm with Jiffa, my cheese has slender leaves can't remember how many but certainly not 3 unsure.gif

It certainly stinks though, stronger than anything else I've grown. So dunno if you have cheese but it sounds nice whatever it is....pics are the only way to tell I'd suggest.
