Hi All
Just about to replace my bulbs and was thinking of what to buy unsure.gif

At the min I been using a CFL200w suspended vertical with no reflector in 1mx1m tent for rooted cutting and seedlings
Then on to a 400w HPS Adjusta wing+spreader Also Phillips, but lost the box but looks very blue light (Grow shop told me for Veg only)
and the on to 600W HPS Adjusta wing+spreader with Phillips PIA son-t (again grow shop recommend for flowering only)

I dont have any experience in lights, and less in growing rofl.gif
The guy in local grow shop is very commercial minded rofl.gif
Hence the reason I get most of my bits from the UK

But I have noticed whilst lurking around the forums lots of peeps mixing HPS an MH???

Is there any advantage???

Please Let me know what you think Is the best bulbs to buy for my next grow???
Or Just go for same again???

Many thanks

Mixing blue and red light means a larger range of light spectrums for the plant. Halides can grow and flowers as can sodiums, don't believe everything the grow shop tells ya!!

If you run your 600 and 400 together i would keep with a blue in the 400 and a red in the 600.

Son t plus lamps are excellent Hps and phillips do a blue Hpi-T which is good. Sunmaster also make some cracking lamps, their blue one is supposedly the one to have now.

Yup Nav-T(son-t plus)HPS , and Venture sunmaster MH 7200k ,i have a similar combo but in 600w edition both and i expect good results and if u read these threads from start to finish u will now more smoke.gif
