Ok, I wasn't sure exactly where to post this so feel free to move it if need be
Now, as for my question I was looking at a strain that's recomended for outdoor growing, and i want to grow it inside. I'm wondering if this is a bad idea, and if so, i'm wondering what kind of loss i'll face growing her indoors? cheers

Hello madhatta81, All plants can be grown indoors but not all plants can be grown outdoors successfully, the thing you have to watch with outdoor strains being grown indoors is having enough headroom if there sativa in nature, just be prepared to do alittle lst, super cropping etc some of them girls really like to stretch

Most outdoor vars do poorly indoors, or are a pain in the arse

Durban Poison is said to be easy to grow both indoors and out, although I'd recommend that you ask people who have grown it indoors.
Hollands Hope does well indoors, Durban from DP is ok, Early Girl from Kullu was quite strong so was Early California, which was much better grown inside.Would be worth trying that Big Bang inside or the Church

If the variety states just outdoor then it'll most probably turn out like hay with little to no resin production or aroma/flavour grown indoors,so look at varieties that state indoor/outdoor then you won't be disappointed at harvest time.

i grew passion #1 indoors because i thought the same, "can't make much difference". it was shit. low yields of airy buds. could tell the strain would be good, but it was seriously limited. would strongly recommend against it.
