Has anybody here used superthrive on their cuttings/plants??
If so did you notice an improvement?

excellent
how much did you use and how often?
I got some with my setup, and was told I could mix it with the nutes in the NFT tank.

My tank only holdsp about 12 litre so just used to put a couple of drops in with the food about once a week.
If it does half what it says on the packaging it should be a great product, yet to notice any difference tho.

I have not done a side by side but it does seem to have a general affect. It almost certainly has a rejuvination affect on sick plants so it is worth having in your cupboard.

cool
I don't think it should have any negative effects because it is after all used for rejuvenation of sick plants so I am going to give it a try.
Cheers for the replies guys

I it's worth the money just to get to read the old school style packaging and all of it's outlandish promises. 1001 uses? Feeding plants, smelling, urm ahh. Well thats 2 uses.

ive used it. in my opinion it doesnt help them grow, but it is a good revivor, and stress reducer.

SuperThrive is great stuff - ONLY use it during vegetative growth mind.
I find that it is really useful to stop stress from transplanting etc.

Superthrive is also very useful if your plants are suffering from some form of abuse (over pruning, under-watering, nute burn, pests) etc. But as Dr Albs says, it should only be used during veg.

be careful with this stuff in hydro systems... if you put too much in u will notice some solid chunks of... stuff.
dont know what it is, but it doesn't help with dripper lines or airstones... seems to gunk em up.
prolly not too bad for compost plants tho.
oh, and that stuff definitely stinks like

It smells of luvverley B-vitamin goodness!
I use it habitually from rooting cuttings to early flowering and can't point to evidence why, apart from it seems to help. Sounds weak I know. Maybe I should do a 2-tank comparison on my next diary?
