hi guys really need an expert opinion on my sick baby girl.
shes 38 days old, growing in biobizz allmix, under a 250w blue enviro, in a small drobe with 100mm rvk extraction (passive intakes)

so far i havn't fed her once, apart from watering her in with a mix of superthrive seaweed extract (1/2ml to L) when i potted up (which she has liked everytime ive pottd her up). at the same time i also misted her with the same seaweed mix- could this have burnt her?

or do those markings look like a nute deficiency? i dont know what to make of em, they are only effecting the leaves on the top most of the plant (this may not be obvious in the pics coz i am lst-ing her).

please anyone with any knowledge or advice id be very grateful if you'd help me figure this out!!!!! i really hope this isn't lsf..................... spliff.gif
incidently, although these markings were already present at the time, ive recently put my fan on to run 15min every hour to keep temps up- was wondering if bad airflow could cause this?
cheers for any replys!!!!

Hi Herbs man, Ive been watching your progress with the blue cheese as im growing the same strain, This looks rather bad man imo, although i couldnt actually say what it is, i hope it sorts itsself out for ya, Look to have spread quite and looks to me you aint gonna get life back in them leaves that are hurt, i having a simular problem but not as bad,

I see you mention bad airflow, This is a KEY FACTOR of growing, What are your temps? humidity?

hey cheo cheers for the interest matey, yeah i really aint liking the look of them leaves!!! well at the mo ive got a rvk 100mm extract but over the past couple days ive had it running 15min every hour coz my temps were dropping to 18c (my house has no heating presently). rh was around 50 most the time but with the change in the fan timing it hit 70 i think.
however as my plants werent really showing signs of stress from the cold, i think il wap her back on 24/7, cant hurt her i guess...... i also have a 6inch oscillating fan on her 24/7.

ok, have you got inlets, you need to keep a constant airflow no matter what mate, especially at your stage imo. Keep the RVK on at all times, what are temps on the outside of the grow, infact, you have an HPS RIGHT? if so get this on the girls right away!!! This will help the Temps.

Hope things work out.
herbs333
well for inlets im using passive intakes at d mo, been working fine up untill now, but may need upgrading i suppose.......
outside temps are prob bout 18 at a guess, will be getting heating this week so that will help. however i dont have an hps- was gunna flower with red and blue enviros, but have seriously been thinking lately the drobe could do with the heat (and obviously the bud fattening lumens) of a hps...... still the fans on constant now, temps are 21 rh is 59, i dont think thats too bad considering its night time.

anyway cheers again cheo buddy, if anyone else has any ideas please help, il give ya biscuits!
i really want to feed her tomoz, but these markings really look like nute burn to me so really am not sure what to do......

Hey there mate, a few things that might help, from what i've had to do as temps outside drop. I saved up a bit and just invested in a climate controller. I reduced my fan speed to about 40% constantly, and spikes to 100% when it gets too hot. Also the past few nights have gotten quite cold, so i added an oil radiator in my grow box as well. Well good luck on the grow, hope everything else goes well for ya smile.gif

cheers madhatta matey like i said all advice is very much appreciated biggrin.gif yeah i was thinking about getting something to control the speed of my fan as its a pretty big extraction for such a small space. however i thought i remembered reading somewhere that fan conrollers are not safe to use on rvk fans or summin? i could be talking a load of bollocks tho...... is your fan an rvk fella? and if so how much was your controller?
cheers again for the advice bud!

I spent about 120$ on my controller. as for the fan, sadly it's not rvk, it's a hydrofarm in-line. so far it hasn't caused me a problem at all, but that might be something you'd want to look into. better safe then sorry. Hopefuly getting the heat going well help you with the temp problems as well. smile.gif
