LST to increase the plants use of available light might be worth it but particularly due to the very short veg cycle topping it probably wouldnt work.
Do a small seed run (for future crops) and try it on a few of your homebrew seeds.

LST works fairly well with most autos, if you start the training early on. They don't get much veg time so it needs to be started early on in order to maximise the results. People more knowledgable than myself have said in the past that topping autos is counter productive and I would agree. It may, however be worth experimenting on one or two of your plants by pinching out the very tip of the top shoot during mid flower, to see if it helps fatten up the colas. This is different to normal topping and produces different results. Like I say though, only try it on one or two plants.
