Ok so i was going to go with chemical ferts but decided against that and i'm sticking with Bio-Bizz, seen sense

Anyway i've been looking at greens and a few other places including here of course trying to figure out the best combo of nutes to use.

By this i mean should i ditch the Bio-Bizz Grow n use Bio-Bizz Fish Mix as i've read its very good for the compost, i know the NPK is a bit different as the Grow is 8-2-6 and the Fish Mix is 6-2-4 so a little weaker so i would maybe need to use a little more but would this be better for the compost and more beneficial to the plants?

Or should i maybe just drop the grow out of say 1 in every 3 feeds and stick the Fish Mix in instead to help maintain the quality of the compost?

Also wondering about Bio-Bizz Alg-A-Mic, there doesn't appear to be any NPK amounts stated so does this mean i could just use it with every 3 feeds without having to ditch any of the other nutes for that feed? And also how much would you's suggest to use?

The Bio-Bizz Bloom will of course be used as needed

I'm not intrested in Heaven or Topmax as there

As you can prob tell i'm really looking to keep the compost in good condition and help the friendly fungi along as much as possible which will be Rootgrow and Canna Trichoderma

Any suggestions would be great, i'm hoping to order this lot tomoro as i need to order compost anyway to get potting up into there final pots

E2a:- whats the best way to apply Canna Trichoderma? I usually just water it in not sure if thats the best way

If growing with biobizz, then grow and bloom are all you need

Its always good to have a bottle of fishmix because it comes in handy from time to time especially as a foliage spray or for young uns and mothers

i chop and change the way i do thing as often as you change your socks. i was using topmax but i found just ordinary treakle is as good then i got some molasses. i used fishmix only while veging, then onto bloom and grow once in flower.

whats in topmax then? surely its better than nothing.

i just bought a 740g jar of blackstrap molasses for making rum with. i might get another one for my plants

So the Alg-A-Mic is no good either?

When would i need to use Fish Mix if i'm using Grow which is stronger?

Also which way is the best way to apply Canna Trichoderma?

The only reason i'm wondering is on my last grow the plants yellowed a fair bit and dont know why, it certainly looked like lack of N but if i gave them more grow the leaf tips started to hook under

I eventually put it down to lack of light but then i was thinking maybe i screwed up the compost in some way and this was causing the yellowing which is why i was thinking of using the Alg-a-Mic and Fish Mix as i've read there very good for the compost and also with the rootgrow which i also hadn't used in the last grow as my garden centre had ran out

Ok so heres what i've got for them, Bio-Bizz Grow + Bloom + Fish Mix, Canna Trichoderma, Rootgrow and also Rockdust, well the Rootgrows not been bought yet but will be in the next couple of days

Anything else i could add to help the roots thrive?

Ah and how much Rootgrow and Rockdust should be used in a 6L pot? I'm sure it says on the Rootgrow anyway but not to sure about the amount of Rockdust never used it before

Its Pinetum Rockdust if that makes any difference

Thats me got the Rootgrow 4 x 360g bags for £8.50 each bloody bargain usually there £10-11 each, really looking forward to potting up now

Ok so got my rockdust there which if i've read right has to be applied at rougly 1 tablespoon per 5L pot and the rootgrow which has to be applied at 50ml per 5L pot so i'm in 6L so i'll add a tiny bit more for luck

The guy who i bought the rootgrow off also sent me a free 900g bag of Rootgrow Rootfood which is enough to do 100-150 plants in 6L pots but not to sure if i should use it, any thoughts or anyone used it?

i watered with the trichoderma and got good results, nice n white healthy roots

but as far as fishmix goes, ive only ever used it as a quick fix for N DEF ,as it is more readily accessable to the plant

so i just used it once and carried on with the grow, it works great for that

Either Topmax or Heaven give your bud a kind of metallic taste think it may be Topmax and Heaven is just a rip off.

its funny so many that dislikes Bio Heaven, i have used it for close to 2 years now and would never grow without it, the difference in growth haste, health and size is simply huge

and giving your plants a seaweed extract like Alg-A-Mic is how can that be bad? again i have used it for years and have nothing but good things to say about it (im sure you can use other brands of seaweed with just as much succes)

Topmax and rootjuice i dont realy know if they do anything, never did a comparison grow with these 2, but its not hurting my plants, its not that expensive and my buds does NOT taste metallic so i keep using it (along with some molasse)

this was grown using the biobizz range in 11 liter pots under a 600w hps

i use top max with great results and no significant diff in taste on the final product in my opinion , as for the
alga mix 181 i think the purpose of it is to replenish the soil once all food/fert has been depleated ? keeps the soil healthy
