Planning a outdoor grow next year but will be travelling from late oct for approx 7 months.

Wondering best way to store the fruits!

Plan A: Was to dry asap getting it crispy, then put in ait tight plastic boxs taped up and bury these under the ground. Where i am thinking no rain will fall.
Pro's: Is well stashed, no risk of being found. If didn't need burping no one else has to know location.
Con's: Possibly more likely to mold.

Plan B: As above but store boxs inside. Its possible someone else will be stopping at my house when away thou.
Pro's: Easy access to check on. Dryer enviroment.
Con's: Is not so well stashed would be in house.

In both situations i should be able to get someone to check the boxs every month to burp, obviously buried boxes woukld have to be less frequent every 2 months.

Which is bets anyone tried burying??

make sure it's well dried, and fully cured, like 2 months of drying/curing/burping. put a little brown paper in the jars' on top of the weed [you should never over fill anyways], always use le parfaits, as they have the best seal in the biz. get one of those plastic chests from an army surplus store, and seal the chest with jars and shredded paper. the chest must seal well to protect the jars. double protection, with shredded [paper for good measure. go for it. they would probably be at the perfect conditions summer/winter. ie cool and dark. when you go back they will be a very mellow puff.

can u not put the parfait jars under the floorboards or summat in your house ?

i would feel much safer with them being there as opposed to burying them outside where they could possibly be found

Personally it would depend on how much I was storing. If it was a fair amount I'd be tempted to split it into several caches to reduce the chance of losing it all in one go, be it being busted, burgled or just plain forgetting where you stashed it when you come home.

so outside in jars is fine ? the coldness would affect the bud ?

underground is good, constant low temp, deep enough to be protected from frost, cool enough to slow the growth of any moulds. i think it's a constant 7C in the uk but i could be wrong.
