Ok so I think Ive selected my 3 strains for next years outdoor growearly girl durban and passion#1. just a couple of question. How short is it possible to keep these plants with topping? Whats the high like on sensis durban sensis early girl and dutch passions passion#1?

Thanks
silvester growdrobe
i grew a passion #1, but it was my first grow and i didn't read up properly and grew it in a 'drobe pinch.gif so it was a bit shit.
the buds didn't really fill out properly, just stayed a bit airy. the smoke however was beautiful, smelled like oranges/lemons when put through the grinder and was a really smooth toke. i reckon it'd be great if finished completely outdoors.
can't tell you any more than that, i'm afraid.

Ok thanks for the replys so thats 1 who likes passion#1 and 1 who doesnt. Lord Saines when you say its not a very cheerful buzz do you mean its a sleepy type buzz or actualy unpleasant in some way? Cheers

I grew Sensi Durban a couple of years ago outdoors.. you will probably need to force-flower it early to get a decent crop..
They were healthy, vigourous plants and had no problem with mold considering how wet it was. Yield wasn't that great but ok.

Tbh though I will probably not grow it again - I found the high (though not that strong) a little too paranoia inducing for my tastes and left me with quite a fuzzy/thick head the next day... but saying that it is quite a good daytime smoke when you need to get things done like clean the kitchen or something smile.gif Made very nice tasting hash though...

Early Girl is supposed to be better... I have some of those seeds but haven't bothered as yet...

I would strongly suggest something like Biddy Early from Magus for an outdoor UK grow as it is Sativa dominant (I think) and a lot stronger, oh & a bigger yielder... I also heard good things about Rox from Paradise Seeds... again for UK outdoor.

just my 2p

Good Luck in your decision! yinyang.gif
Lord Saines
if its paranoia inducing it needs a good cure to convert the excess thc, which is the culprit

Ok thanks I was a little unsure of the durban anyway and the height was a bit of a worry.

Interesting point Lord Saines.... In fact I still have quite a lot of it curing in the jars (over 18 months now)- It smells gorgeous, in a spicy, musky, sandalwood kinda way... was gonna make hash out of the rest at some point, but maybe I should try some in the vape again... Along side it at the time I had LR#2 outdoors and it was (or felt) a much stronger smoke but no paranoia.. I heard from other people that some African sativas can have this para effect, but who knows... gonna fire some up tonight maybe... stoned.gif
