Hi Folks

I’m looking for a header-tank/butt for my 1mx1mx2m tent.

I’m looking for something that takes about 20cm x 30cm of floor space.

The 100l Space Sava ones are too big...

So – I was thinking of a 25l plastic jerry can - although they seem to let-in light.

Couple of questions:

• Any ideas of alternative tanks/containers?
• How important is it that a header-tank be lightproof – I guess algae could be a problem after a while?

Kitchen waste bin.

I found dark blue to be ok re. algae. If in doubt have 2 bins, one inside the other, should be lightproof then.

That's the kind of thinking I was looking for... nice one...

wrap a bit of black and white round whatever container you use, that should keep the light out
