these plugs that go in the cloner,, and are thay dear !!!!!
i did ask in the hydro shop but the guy didnt really know what i
going on about ,,,

They are neoprene clone collars and sell for around 50p a pop.

dont know if they're pricey but i made some out of a piece of foam pipe lagging ..

ED:- to explain a bit.. 1'' foam lagging , cut a bit of the circle out and use it in the middle to hold the cutting, a bit fiddly at first, but free (-ish)
but i'm back in the mud again and getting good results from ot1's cloning method
